Given we'd rolled in poo, I decided that Hudson needed a bath this morning. And Hudson decided that I needed a bath too!
The hair dryer was a bit scary but after I coaxed him out from under the bed we had success, which largely involved him clinging to me for dear life and then chilling and seeming to fall asleep on my lap!
Just a few lines to say that Dusty has settled in and i'm glad its not just mayhem at my house!! She has certainly made it quite plain that she is boss and Ella (my 4yr old black lab) is trying really hard to get back to being top dog! We've had a few technical problems with uploading but hope to soon have some pictures of Dusty on the blog. We went for our second jabs on Friday and she didn't murmur, weighed in at just under 8kg and the vet says she is a very 'pretty' puppy. Anyway we are just settling down now for a good nights sleep (i hope).
Hudson went to his first puppy party tonight and was exremely vocal about the whole thing! He made loads of new friends of the human and canine variety and was spoilt rotten.
This was shortly after all the puppies had been released and guess who's in the middle of this lot with a little spaniel pinned to the floor?
An action shot - going for Dustin!
He was so fast that all the other photos are too blury!
It's a hard life coming to work with me every day!
Unfortunately Dexter hasn't got bored of biting Hudson's legs, tail, face, ears and pulling his collar yet. Not sure how long Hudson will put up with that for!
No matter how many toys we buy for Dexter he still goes back to his good old plant pot. He has taken to brooms and mops recently, it is difficult to get any cleaning done when he's awake!
Daft ole Hudson had a great game of chucking his new toys around (I know, I know, I got carried away in the pet shop this morning) until one of them went missing. But just look at the desperate plea written across his face in the last picture!
