It's best not to rush into this whole christmas thing, and someone has brought a very big stick inside and put shiny thins all over it!!

Hudson gets his toes wet

Last weekened we joined Cola, Mandy (half sister) and Suki (Mandy's Mum) for a lovely walk in Bramshill.

I couldn't get the camera out quick enough to provide evidence of Hudson swimming, but can happily confirm our puppy is no longer backwards and has officially been initiated as a proper labrador!

New car gets the Hudson seal of approval

The big white boat served it's purpose (the only good thing about it was zooming up behind people in the fast lane and them moving over thinking I was the fuzz) and it's time for a change. Meet the new Hudsonmobile - someone likes it.

Rosie's Update

I can't believe Uncle Gavin put that photo of me up on the blog, that was a one off, Pot Noodles are healthy now anyway! I just thought that I would let everyone know how I am doing, I am having such a great time at my home, I get to play with the big dogs (horses) some days and then other days I head off to do a bit of sailing and windsurfing, check me out hunting swans...

Hi Everyone,

Sorry it has taken me so long to get some posts up on the blog, it wasn't until I hit 5 months that I worked out how to use my laptop! Can't wait for the party on Sunday to see all my brothers and sisters, see you then! Here is a photo of me from my first weekend at my new home with my first love, Mr. Ducky.

Stopping for a wee snack

For those of you puppies that don't have a Facebook account (!) guess who is stopping for this snack??

Here's the latest instalment from Dexter. We took him for a long weekend in the Somerset countryside. He climed a big hill, chased some ducks and went to the pub.

When we got back, he had his first experience of snow. Didn't really know what to make of it, but he worked out that it was cold.

He didn't exactly cover himself with glory at his puppy school, but it did do him good to meet other dogs, especially his brother and sister.

Hudson and the puddle

Hudson discovered the Wellington puddle today - it's only taken him two and a half months! He took a bit of encouragement to begin with (this is where Mum and Aunty Dizzy would have come in handy) but once in it was fascinating sticking our nose under the water and blowing bubbles.

Double Decker Dogs

We know from much practise that going eventing with one horse (Hugo) one rider (George) two grooms (Gavin & Diane) and two support dogs (Dizzy and Nutty) plus all the saddles, bridles etc that go with this sport, that this lot will exactly fill one Range Rover.

So we were slightly concerned, now that Diane has a support puppy (Bonnie) to add to the mix, how we were going to fit her in. Not to worry it seems that Bonnie has found a perfectly comfortable way to travel!

Brian: Now bring it back!

NEWS FLASH - labrador turns down food!

Hudson finished his puppy classes tonight and graduated with flying colours. He and his buddy Dustin caused havoc and much entertainment - not even handfuls of food could split these two up.

Amber (border terrier) and Gandolph (miniature schnauzer) got the right idea about puppy parties.

Dexter. 4 weeks on

Now Dexter's jabs have kicked in, he's been for a few walks. Firstly, the canal. We didn't want him to go in the water, he's a bit too young yet.

He sat and looked at the water but we didn't think he'd go in.

Action shot. Running away from the water. Obviously not bothered about going for a swim. Well he jumped in later anyway, swam round a bit and we had to drag him out by his collar. No photos of that, unfortunately.

But here he is later, in repose, in a very un-natural looking position.

Here he is back at the office, taking Hudson for a walk.

Looking through the camera I found some photos taken at the beginning of July.

Not sure who this one is - but sooooo cute!

Fast forward to last weekend and Hudson's out and about and wanting to be everyone's friend, including Geoffrey! Geoffrey, on the other hand, prefers a quiet life.
